COVID 19 Guidelines - From Monday 19th July 2021
Welcome to The Tom Cobley Tavern
WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO SANITISE YOUR HANDS. Please ensure you use the sanitiser provided as you enter the premises and before and after any visits to our toilet facilities.
WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO WEAR A FACE MASK. We ask our customers to wear a face mask in our premises unless they are seated at a table. Our team will be continuing to wear their face masks at this point in time.
WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO USE CASHLESS PAYMENTS. We are asking our customers to pay via contactless card payments where possible.
WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO GIVE OTHER CUSTOMERS AND OUR TEAM THEIR OWN PERSONAL SPACE. Please make sure you keep your distance from other guests and our team and ensure your children remain seated with you at all times throughout their visit and are accompanied to our toilet facilities.
WE WILL PROVIDE GOOD VENTILATION. Our windows and doors will be open to provide good ventilation throughout your visit, so please come with an extra layer should you feel the cold.
We have decided to keep these guidelines in place throughout our premises to keep our customers and team as safe as possible and hopefully prevent any further closure.
Roger, Carol and The Tom Cobley Team
A Note for our Drinkers
If you are popping in for a drink please feel free to find a seat in our bar/snug/garden area and order, collect and pay for your drinks at the bar.
A Note for our Diners
If you are popping in for something to eat please wait upon entry to our dining room and you will be shown to your table where your drink and food order will be taken.
If you wish to eat outside please check in with a member of our team upon entry to the dining room as they will be able to give you a menu. You can then order, collect and pay for your drinks at the bar and then a member of our team will take your food order from your table.
Unfortunately the bar/snug areas will be reserved for people who wish to pop in for a drink in the evenings.
